This workshop was tutored by artist and teacher Fran Hinton. The tuition focused on different mediums and both the sheep and ducks we had as very obliging live models in the workshop garden.
Fran Hinton has a fine art degree from Canterbury & has been teaching for many years. She works in all mediums including print, predominantly painting animals but also the occasional landscape. Good drawing is the base and then to explore texture and form through the application of paint. Painting poultry was also a great success in 2013 along with our numerous garden painting workshops.
2015 Next years workshop will be focusing on horses.
